DATEVALUE function doesn't seem to work at all

I have an Excel file with a single cell containing the function =DATEVALUE(“12/10/2013”)


When I read the file, then save it as a pdf (with save options set to calculate formulas, of course), the result is #VALUE!

We use Excel’s datevalue functionality extensively, so this is a big problem.

Does anyone have a solution or a way to work around this hole in functionality?

Please download and try the latest version: Aspose.Cells
for .NET v7.6.1.4 it works fine. We tested the =DATEVALUE(“12/10/2013”) function with this version and did not find any issue.

If your issue still occurs, then please provide us your source file and the sample code replicating this issue. We will look into it and help you asap.
