I am considering purchasing Aspose.Barcode and I need to know if it will read DCX Images.

Thank you for considering Aspose.BarCode!

I am sorry that the BarCodeReader supports the image formats which are built-in support by the .NET framework like Bmp, Jpeg, Fif, Png, Tiff, Wmf, Metafile etc, but I am sorry that it can not read from dcx images directly, you may need to transform the format first.
