Differences between Word and Aspose when formatting text as date in mergefields

we have an issue when we try to merge formatted mergefields :


<span lang=“EN-US” style=“font-size:10.0pt;font-family:
“Arial”,“sans-serif”;mso-fareast-font-family:“Times New Roman”;mso-ansi-language:
EN-US;mso-fareast-language:EN-US;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA”>{MERGEFIELD Date
# 0#/##/#### }

renders differently then in MS Word.

when Date == “01022014”
then it’s rendered in Aspose as: 10/22/014
while MS Word renders it like: 01/02/2014


But when we use:
{MERGEFIELD Date # 0####### }

the the results will be correct:
Aspose: 01022014
MS Word: 01022014

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSJAVA-939) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
