Different text layout between MS Word and Aspose.

Hi,

We are using Aspose.Words for .NET version 17.7 for conversion TXT files to PDF. We found a difference between PDF files generated by Aspose.Words and MS Word 2013 from TXT files with unicode texts. Aspose.Words and MS Word 2013 generate PDF files with different text layout. All paragraphs contain different row count. Also in PDF file generated by Aspose.Words parts of the paragraphs with text in RTL languages are shifted right.

In attached ZIP:

Unicode big endian.txt - initial TXT file;
Unicode big endian Aspose.pdf - PDF file, generated by Aspose.Words;
Unicode big endian Word 2013.pdf - PDF file, generated by MS Word;
ShiphtedPartsOfParagraphs.png - image, that shows parts of paragraphs shifted right.

We are expecting that PDF files generated by Aspose and MS Word will be the same.

Hi,

I downloaded latest version of Words (19.1) and checked the issue described above. In this version of Words the issue is still observed. Are there any updates on this issue?

Unfortunately, your issue (WORDSNET-16035) is not resolved yet. The implementation of the fix of this issue has been postponed. Documents with RTL text inside LTR sections and paragraphs are pretty rare. MS Word places spaces at line end on the left margin of page for RTL text even if paragraph and section are LTR. We need to investigate the best possible way to fix this issue. We will inform you via this thread as soon as this issue is resolved. We apologize for your inconvenience.
