can we append a digital signature on image files like jpg/tiff/png.

If you meant to add some text (or an image with text/graphics) on an existing image then yes, this can be accomplished using the Aspose.Imaging APIs. Please check the two attached images and notice the right lower corners for the digital signature sample. If my understanding is correct then please mention the platform of interest (Java/.NET) so we could provide you the code snippet to achieve this goal, otherwise, please provide more details of your requirement for better understanding.
