Documentation improvement: "FreezePanes"

Hi,

I suggest an improvement to the documentation: when googling about how to freeze rows/columns, I only find this (outdated) page: http://www.aspose.com/docs/display/cellsnet/Freeze+Unfreeze+Rows++and++Columns

I suggest to add a chapter e.g. to the “Rows and columns” doc: http://www.aspose.com/docs/display/cellsnet/Rows+and+Columns
The old doc could link to this page.

It would be perfect if it also hinted to the properties “PageSetup.PrintTitleRow” and “PrintTitleColumns” - I think they are related to frozen rows/columns.

Best regards

Wolfgang

Hi,

Thanks for providing us some details.

Well, actually you are referring to GridDesktop control’s document/article. For your information, Aspose.Cells.GridDesktop is an independent MS Excel like grid control (desktop), it has different APIs set. Please see the document instead which is up-to-date for Aspose.Cells library (which I think you need to work with):
http://www.aspose.com/docs/display/cellsnet/Worksheet+Views#WorksheetViews-FreezePanes

Regarding PrintTitleRows and PrintTitleColumns, well, these are PageSetup options for printing pages in the worksheet, this page would helpful in understandinig the attributes:
http://www.aspose.com/docs/display/cellsnet/Setting+Print+Options

Also, we are in the process to revamp the products docs, we will soon enhance it further.

Thank you.

You are right. Sorry for my initial post.

Maybe you could add links to the new documentations in the “zArchive” branch, as google seems to give those old docs a higher ranking - or maybe my search words were just wrong.

Best regards

Wolfgang

Hi,

Good to know that it sorts out your issue.

Well, after we have completed enhancements and revamp process for the docs, we might remove the zArchived section from the docs. Also, the older links (in zArchived documents) would navigate to respective/relevant topics/sub-topics in new docs.

Thank you.
