Does Aspose.PDF work with RDLs in the local mode?

Hi,

I would like to know if the PDF converter works only with Reporting Services or can I use it while running the report using RDL in local mode? Also, does it do PDF compression in local mode?

Thank you for considering Aspose.

Aspose.Pdf and Aspose.Pdf for RS are two different components. Aspose.Pdf is used to create PDF from scratch. You ask about Aspose.Pdf for RS, and it can only be used to convert/export RDL report to PDF format only. In between it didn't provide any functionality to manipulate RDL reports. PDF compression is not supported directly. You can set compression level property to create new PDF with lower size, but not existing PDF compression.
