We connect to O365 Exchange to read emails using IMAP/POP and Basic Authentication. Microsoft will be disabling POP/IMAP using Basic Authentication, and currently has an option to disable it now for users. Soon they will require “Modern Authentication” to connect - New resources for moving to Modern Authentication - Microsoft Lifecycle | Microsoft Learn
