Does Aspose support .Net Core now?

Hi Support,

I saw some posts that people asked the same question in June. I just want to know what is the latest status? Any ETA?

We purchased the Aspose license and thinking to convert some existing projects to .Net Core version.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Samuel,

Thank you for contacting support. The support of .NET Core has not been added to Aspose APIs yet. Please list down the names of all Aspose APIs which you’re using in your application projects. It’ll help us to prioritize this feature for various Aspose APIs.

Hi Imran,

We use few API like:

Aspose.Words
Aspose.Email
Apsose.Cells

We also know .Net Core is just a baby at this moment, sp we are gradually converting our products to Core version. At 1st stage we do need Aspose.Words.Document.MailMerge function to complete a small project. Do you have any even beta version for that?

Thanks again!

Hi Samuel,

Thank you for the details. We have already logged the feature requests to support .NET Core in Aspose.Words, Aspose.Cells and Aspose.Email under ticket IDs WORDSNET-13612, CELLSNET-43816 and EMAILNET-35134 in our issue tracking system. Your post has also been linked to these tickets.

In reference to the ticket ID WORDSNET-13612, there are no further news about this issue and the implementation of this issue has been postponed for now. However, the fix to this problem may definitely come onto the product roadmap in the future. Unfortunately, we cannot currently promise a resolution date. We apologize for your inconvenience.

@samuel.chenleap.au,

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-13612) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 17.12 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 17.12 update.
