I was wondering if it is still possible to create a Doughnut chart in Aspose Slides for .NET


The problem lies in creating the datapoints for a series, there are methods to create them for several charttypes:

series.DataPoints.AddDataPointForPieSeries

I would expect a similar method, AddDatapointForDoughnutSeries.

If I use the AdddataPointForPieSeries, a Pie chart is renderer, even if the type of the chart and chartseries remains Doughnut.

I am able to notice the problem you have mentioned regarding adding the data points for doughnut charts. An issue for further investigation of the missing feature is registered in our issue tracking system with issue id: SLIDESNET-35963. Our development team will further look into it and we will notify you once the issue is resolved.

Hi Francis,

I have verified from our issue tracking system and like to share that your issue is a new feature request and has been added in mid December 2014. It is still pending for investigation and implementation but I have requested our development team to kindly schedule and investigate the issue if there is any slot available. The issues you have found earlier (filed as SLIDESNET-35963) have been fixed in this update.
