Can you tell me how to get a barcode to print to a thermal printer from a web page so that each barcode image prints onto the printer labels correctly?

Regards,

Aaron

You can use BarHeight property to change the height of the bars

I have this fixed now. I’m not sure what happened, but I just removed the barcode from the web form and re-added it and reset the properties.

I do have another question now. I’m using barcode symbology UPCA and the barcode image seems to be really tall compared to it’s width. Is there a way to make it wider then it is tall?

Hi, Aaron,

Could you send me your code? Therefore, we can do some debugging if needed

Thanks

I just dropped the barcode onto a web form, set some properties and tried to run it and received this error.

Ambiguous match found.

What does this mean?

Aaron

Hello Aaron,

Thank you for considering Aspose.BarCode!
I think your requirement would be met. Please download our product to try it.

Sample code:
Add BarCodeWebControl to your toolbox panel, drag and drop it to your asp page
In the Page_Load method, add the following code (C#):

//Create a caption below the barcode image
BarCodeWebControl1.CaptionBelow = new Aspose.BarCode.Caption();
//Setting the text of the caption
BarCodeWebControl1.CaptionBelow.Text = "Description, Price: $";
BarCodeWebControl1.CaptionBelow.Visible = true;
//Setting alignment to the left, center or right
BarCodeWebControl1.CaptionBelow.T extAlign = System.Drawing.StringAlignment.Near;
//The space between barcode and caption
BarCodeWebControl1.CaptionBelow.Space = 0;
//caption's font
BarCodeWebControl1.CaptionBelow.Font = new System.Drawing.Font("Arial", 10.0f);
//caption's color
BarCodeWebControl1.CaptionBelow.ForeColor = System.Drawing.Color.Blue;

Is this what you need? please tell me if I misunderstood something.

Best regards!

Subject: Product Question

I would like to know if its possible to add extra data to the image that is
generated for the barcode. What I am trying to do is generate a asp.net
barcode based on a productid from a database, then underneath the barcode,
but in the same image I would like to add a product description and price.
Is this possible?

Regards,

Aaron
