Embeded excel value is not refreshed in a Slide after changing the value programatically

Hi Team

I have one PPTX slide template embedded with excel object data. Using this template, I fill the data through c#.Net with Aspose dll. I am able successfully fill the data in embedded excel sheet but it’s not getting displayed latest filled data in slide still its showing initial data (that is template data).

Could you please help on this?

I have observed the sample code shared by you and have found that you are updating the Ole Object frame data. Unfortunately, this is not an issue with Aspose.Slides and a limitation on Ole Engine end. Actually, when you add or update Ole frame in PowerPoint presentation it is in disabled form. One need to update that by double clicking it. When you double click Ole Frame in PowerPoint it automatically gets enabled and show the actual data. Aspose.Slides also generates or updates the Ole frame in disabled form and when you open that in PowerPoint, you need to enable that. There are two options that you can use in this regard. One is to use the third party macros that you can surf over the internet. The macros enable the Ole frames for you whenever you load the presentation in PowerPoint. The other option is to get the image of updated excel sheet using Aspose.Cells and set as fore image for Ole frame using Aspose.Slides. The Ole frame will still be in disabled form with this option but will depicting the picture of updated Ole frame data. When you will double click the Ole frame in PowerPoint, it will show the updated Ole frame enabled form.
