I built a doc to html converter in SharePoint utilizing aspose.words. It works fine as a stand alone application, all embeded images got saved as separate files and are all linked properly within html page. However when running within SharePoint, after conversion I only got the html page in the library, all images are missing. Is there any way to resolve this?
Hello!
Thank you for your inquiry.
Please note that images need to be saved somewhere as separate files when you convert to HTML. If you are using the sample code from our documentation article (https://docs.aspose.com/words/sharepoint/document-conversion/) they will be saved to the same folder with the resulting HTML. Next, the HTML file is somehow utilized by SharePoint – copied, stored etc. without taking care of images. The better way is converting to MHTML (MIME web archive) format. If MHTML doesn’t suit your needs then you should think how to retain/preserve images in separate files.
