Eml return-path

Hi,
we are using Aspose for Java 22.12. Now when switching to version 23.6 we noted that when saving an email as eml the return-path is written differently, e.g. without angle brackets
22.12: Return-Path: <foo@bar.com>
23.6: Return-Path: foo@bar.com

this is wrong in my interpretation of the RFC’s

Hello @ugort,

While your request is being processed, we would like to draw your attention to a new version of RFC5322.

We would also like to know if you have any problems due to this inconsistency?

Thank you.

Hello @margarita.samodurova

Thank you for investigating. RFC5322 [3.6.7] notes:

return = “Return-Path:” path CRLF

path = angle-addr / ([CFWS] “<” [CFWS] “>” [CFWS])

Currently I am not aware of any issues since we did not upgrade and I did not investigate if it would.

@ugort,

Thank you for the feedback.
