Equation with Variable Underbar Mapped to Overbar

Hi,

We noticed that a presentation with variable under bar gets mapped to variable over bar.
Attaching sample presentation sample.zip (25.2 KB)

We also noticed that this was working fine in Aspose.Slides 21.9 and this bug was observed in 22.8

attaching snippet in a while

Seetharaman

@sraman,
Thank you for contacting support.

I’ve reproduced the problem with the equation object when converting the slide to PNG image and added a ticket with ID SLIDESNET-43529 to our issue tracking system. We apologize for any inconvenience. Our development team will investigate the case. You will be notified when a new release of Aspose.Slides with a fix is published.

It would be great if you could share the following additional information:

  • OS version on which the code was executed
  • .NET target platform in your app

We will then also test a solution in an environment similar to yours.

Hi Andrey,

Here is the code snippet to reproduce the issue :

for (int i = 0; i < m_Presentation.Slides.Count; i++)
{
    var thumbnail = m_Presentation.Slides[i].GetThumbnail(1, 1);
    var outPath = "pathtofile" + "snapshot.png";
    thumbnail.Save(outPath, ImageFormat.Png);
}

The issue was noticed on Aspose.Slide 22.8
We have not changed env from our side.

It has consistently been : Windows 10 and .Net Framework 4

Regards,
Raman

@sraman,
Thank you for the additional information. I’ve forwarded it to our developers.

Hi Andrey,

Is there any update on the fix date ?

Regards,
Raman

@sraman,
I’ve requested plans for the issue from our development team. We will let you know them soon.

@sraman,
An issue investigation was scheduled for the next week.

Hi Andrey,

Is there an update on this issue, are we targeting 22.12 for this issue ?

Regards,
Raman

@sraman,
Yes, the issue has already been resolved. A fix will be included in Aspose.Slides 22.12. This release will be published in the second half of December.
