'Error! Not a valid filename' when using Word include with https URL

Dear all,

I get an ‘Error! Not a valid filename’ error message with “WordInclude” with https.

When I use the same url only with http it works fine. Unfortunately http is not an option.

I’m generating a document that should contain content from https source.

In the resulting document I’m inserting another document which holds word includes with https references to the mentioned document.

For inserting I use the InsertDocument method as suggested in the Aspose Forums. All the fields are updated on the run with UpdateFields().

When I open the result in Word I have the error. If I then manually update the fields (F9) then everything is fine.

Enclosed is a small test project to reproduce this error. In this test both http and https are used. After the test is executed you can check the ‘result.docx’ in the \data folder. This file displays the error message for the https test.

The input ‘include.docx’ file has the two word includes with the http and https variant.

I run into this issue with Aspose Words.Net 14.1 but can also reproduce it with version 15.8.

Kind regards,

Chris
