Evaluating ASPOSE - Implementation- Load Testing- etc

Hello,

We are currently evaluating your products and have been going back and forth regarding implementation. We would be using the Words product to generate documents from word templates after a customer has placed there order.

Has there been load testing on the dlls before? If so, what were the results? Would you recommend an asynch or batch process? If 100 different customers ordered there documents at the same time, would the dll be able to handle it?

Also, we’ve ran into issues with our hosting provider being willing to install the dlls on the web server (currently we are trying to implement in classic asp to keep consistent with the rest of the site). What can you share with us to help increase their confidence level in you products? Are you Microsoft Certified or are there major companies that use ASPOSE?

Thank you for your help as we move forward with our evaluation of ASPOSE.

Hi
Thanks for your request. Aspose.Words is multithread safe as long as only one thread works on a document at a time. It is a typical scenario to have one thread working on one document. Different threads can safely work on different documents at the same time.
Aspose.Words is designed to perform great both on a server or client. Aspose.Words is a single .NET assembly that can be deployed with any .NET application by simply copying it. You do not have to worry about any other services or modules.
You can literally generate thousands of documents in minutes with Aspose.Words and that involves opening a document, modifying content and formatting or populating it with data and saving it. Even most of the complex documents are opened and saved on a P4 2.4Ghz 1Gb RAM machine in fractions of a second.
