Evaluation copy in production

Hi,

I have a question,

My company is about to buy the Aspose.Words product.

In our product we use the dll Aspose.Words.dll.

We may need to release the version before we’ll complete the purchase procedure.

Is it possible to release our version with Aspose.Words.dll evaluation copy and then replace it in the production’s servers with new one? or that we’ll have to install the licence on the server?

What exactly is the procedure for this?

Thanks for your inquiry. Actually, there is no evaluation version of Aspose.Words. Version that you use is full version that works in evaluation mode. You should set license to make it to work in licensed mode:

For now, you can request a temporary 30 days license, and then just replace temporary license with real license. Please see the following link to learn how to request a temporary license:

I have a question, If i’l try to load from code a licence that expired.

Will it throw an exception? or won’t load it at all?

Thanks for your inquiry. Every Aspose license carries one-year subscription for free upgrades to new versions released during this time. So you can upgrade to any version that comes out during this time at no cost.

You also can use version that comes out before the license expiration date for unlimited period.
