Excel 2007: Format as Table

I read the following thread, but could not be sure if it applies to my scenario:

In Excel 2003, when you use “Autoformat” on a table, the styles are applied to the cells, and this style is carried into the Workbook and HTML export.

In Excel 2007, this has been changed to “Format as Table” and it looks like it is linked to the Excel feature commonly known as “Lists”. Somehow 2007 shows styles that are not applied to the cells and that do not get saved in the Wordbook or HTML export.

Do you know if saving this format is supported, or will be supported in the future?

Thank you

Hi,

Currently, Aspose.Cells only preserves the table and its style while saving the file in XLS / XLSX file format. This is not supported yet while saving as HTML (as mentioned above).

Thank You & Best Regards,
