Excel Response Headers

Hello,

I am trying to use Excels Data Source feature to read cells from a workbook I have generated from my server but it requires basic authentication to download it.

Is anyone aware of documentation available which would provide details about what types of http headers excel would expect to force basic authentication?

For example, I have found that Excel is capable of reading “WWW-Authenticate” headers and “Warning” headers but I cannot find any specific details on what values they support.
