Expanding the child rows before databind or during the initial databind

I have the above code to try and have the child rows expanded during the initial databind so that i can push the grid in hierarchial view into an excel spreadsheet.

Hi,

I am not very sure about your requirement, could you elaborate and explain it more. Are you expanding the child rocords? We appreciate if you could provide us more info to show your need.

To be more specific, I am trying to send the grid to excel but with hierarchial view once pushed to excel…The problem I am having is that you have to click on each plus sign to expand each parent row in order to see the child rows, I would like to have each parent row expanded with their child rows showing during the databind of child rows so that it will push all the data into my excel file.
Please let me know if you have a solution for this.

Well I 'm afraid the feature is not supported, we will certainly look into it if we can support it in our future versions.
