Exporting XLS to RDL

Using Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services at Excel i can convert XLS file to RDL2005 format, but saving at RDL 2008 not working - i getting error message “Saving Report file failed”. How i can solve it?

There are example of pair XLS and RDL files.
Can i convert XLS to RDL using your software?

Hi,

Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services report designer does not support convert XLS to RDL.

Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services Report designer supports open and edit RDL in excel.

yes, but i can’t save RDL report from excel

Hi ,

Please tell us what version of Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services you are using.

We try to use Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services version V2.0.0 to do following operation.

1. Open 100.xls with Excel 2010.

2. Rename стр.1 to стр

3. Click the Save Report button of Aspose.Cells

4. Publish 1002008.rdl to Report server.
