I’m having an issue where field codes and results are appearing as text in a document when inserted using the DocumentBuilder (InsertField / InsertHyperlink). For example the field code for page numbers appear as {PAGE}and hyperlinks appear as {HYPERLINK} in the document output using Aspose.Words.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for your inquiry. Maybe you should disable “Show field codes” option in the MS Word. (Tools/Options/View/Show/Field codes checkbox, also you can press Alt+F9). If this will not help then please attach your document for testing and provide me code example that will allow me to reproduce this issue.

You are correct, it looks like I inadvertently switched on the “Show field codes” option at some point.
I now have the option turned off and it appears that the library is creating fields exactly as expected!
