Finding fonts on Linux

With version 17.4.0 of Aspose.Words for java, Document save to PDF is having trouble finding fonts on our Linux systems (no problem at all on Windows) and either generating an error or doing strange substitutions (e.g. Lato Hairline for Calibri). It appears something changed that affected font lookup on Linux. This worked reasonably well with the previous version (16.1.0 in our case), but the newer version has some fixes we would like to use. Is there something we can do to help Aspose.Words find fonts on Linux, maybe with the FontSettings class?

Thanks!

Thanks for your inquiry. Please check following documentation link to specify True Type Fonts location in Aspose.Words for Java. Hopefully it will help you to resolve the issue.

Furthermore, please note we have improved Font substitution mechanism in Aspose.Words for 17.3. Please also check release notes page for the reference.
