I am using an Excel Template xyz.xlts for creating excel reports. When the template is unformatted, it is working as expected But When I format some columns of the excel template as Currency with two decimal places, the report creation failes with error message "Aspose.Cells cannot shift nonblank cell off the worksheet"
How can I resolve the issue?

Aspose.Cells for .NET 8.0.1.3 a try on your end. In case the problem persists, please share the sample spreadsheet, and your source code covering the complete scenario (most preferably an executable standalone application).
