Formatting issues on the PDF

We had bought your products Aspose.pdf and Aspose.Words in 2007(file versions 3.6.10 and 4.4.3.0 respectively), however some formatting features do not seem to get displayed correctly. Thank you

Hi
Thanks for your request. You are using quite old versions of products. Have you tried using the latest version of Aspose.Words and direct-to-PDF method of conversion (without using Aspose.Pdf). Please see the following link:

You can download the latest version of Aspose.Words from here:

Hello,
Thank you for your prompt reply. The version that we have does not display tables as well as bolded, italicized, etc words on the PDF. It looks like that we might have to upgrade but I would like to test the product before we decide to upgrade. Could you provide the link to the latest aspose.pdf and aspose.words dlls so that I can download and test them. Also in case we decide to upgrade, I would like some information on the upgrade, pricing and purchase policies.
Thanks
Melrine

Hi Melrine,
Thanks for your request. As I mentioned earlier at the moment you need only Aspose.Words to convert Word document to PDF. You do not need Aspose.Pdf at all. You can download the latest version of Aspose.Words from here:
https://releases.aspose.com/words/net
Regarding pricing and purchase policies, you would better ask in Aspose.Purchase forum. My colleagues from sales team will answer you shortly.
If you have any technical questions, I will be glad to help you.
Best regards,

Hello,
I am not converting a word document to a PDF. I am getting the formatted text, tables from an editor and using Aspose.Pdf to generate a dynamic PDF based on the text that gets entered into the editor. Since I am using an older version that we had bought 3 years ago, it is not displaying certain formatted text like tables created in the editor or copy pasted from somewhere, bolded text and so on. Do you provide support for older versions of your software or do you recommend an upgrade?
Thank you
Melrine

Hi Melrine,
Thank you for additional information. All fixes and new features are always added into new versions of our products. So you should upgrade if you need new features or fixes.
You can download the latest version of Aspose.Pdf from here:

Hello again,

Off lately we have been receiving the following error “Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.” and we get it because we are using older versions of Aspose.Pdf and Aspose.Words(file versions 3.6.10 and 4.4.3.0 respectively). Is there a work around to this problem? What do you suggest is the best solution to fix this?

Thanks again,
Melrine

Hi
Thanks for your request. This problem occurred in old versions of Aspose.Words when running in 64 bit environment. This problem was fixed in 5.1 version of Aspose.Words. But our internal policy does not allow us to share versions of products older than one year. You can only download versions of Aspose.Words available here:
https://releases.aspose.com/words/net
Could you please try using the latest version of Aspose.Words and let me know how it goes on your side.
Best regards,

Hello,

Thanks for your prompt reply. We do not get the error when we use an updated version of Aspose.Words.

Regards
Melrine

It is perfect that the problem disappeared.
Best regards,

So the only option I have is to go for an upgrade? Could you provide me with some information regarding that or direct me to some place or a phone # or email address where I can have my questions answered?

Thanks
Melrine

Hi
Thanks for your request. Yes, unfortunately the only option is upgrading. You can contact our sales team in Aspose.Purchase forum. My colleagues will be glad to assist you with renewing your license.
