Forum thread disappeared

Hello Aspose,

I originally posted to an existing thread, and was asked to provide some same code, which I did. When returning to this thread on the forum, I received the error message “Access Denied”.

									Hello,<br><br>We are currently evaluating these controls,

which we need to use in a document management system to extract
individual pages in PDFs splitting them based on pages containing
barcodes. We also noticed the system was a bit slow - it took about 1
minute to extract 8 barcodes from an 8 page .PDF document. Is there a
more efficient way of performing the barcode detection that waht you
supplied in the sample code?

Also, is there any news on the feature requests:

PDFNEWNET-35063: Image extraction performance enhancement
PDFNEWNET-35064:
Native image format and bit depth properties
PDFNEWNET-35065:
Stream providing raw bytes of image in Pdf file.

									Hello,<br><br>Thanks for your response. I've enclosed 2 files;

PDFProcessTest.zip - used for the testing and Barcodes Test 03.zip,
which is the PDF from a scanner that we used to perform the test.

We
used the method “Test1” which can be called by running the software and
clicking the “Read Images from PDF using PDF extractor” button. You
will need to type in the correct paths.

... as I've now sent you a demo project to demonstrate how I'm extracting the images, in anticipation of you showing me a more efficient method.

Also, is there any news on the feature requests that were logged?

Hi Martin,

As shared earlier by Tilal over 506644 post, we have been able to notice the performance related issue and its already been logged in our issue tracking system as PDFNEWNET-36008. The
development team has been busy resolving other priority issues and I am afraid
the above stated problem is not yet resolved.

Also please note that as a normal rule of practice, issues are resolved in first come and
first serve basis; but the problems logged/reported under Enterprise or
Priority support model, have high precedence in terms of resolution, as compare
to issues under normal/free support model.

Please be patient and spare us little time.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as PDFNEWNET-36008) have been fixed in Aspose.Pdf for .NET 8.9.0.
