Generate columns instead of rows with mail merge region using C#

I have seen the examples using tablestart & tableend to dynamically rows are dynamically added to the table using ExecuteWithRegions. Is there away to pivot the table where the number of rows is defined but the columns of the table are added dynamically with ExecuteWithRegions.
