I am using the Grid Desktop.
Is there some setting to control what happen when you use copy, cut, paste and delete actions.
If the user does any of these action it seems to also apply to the formatting of the cell as well as the contents.
I would like to have control if it applied just to the cell contents or the formatting of the cell as well.

We have evaluated your requirement and logged it in our database as New Feature request as below. We will look into it and implement it. Once, the issue is resolved or we have some other news for you, we will share it with you asap.
Please try our latest version/fix: Aspose.Cells.GridDesktop v17.10.4.
Your issue should be fixed in it.
We added PasteType properties in GridDesktop.cs. It indicates which paste type you want when you do paste action, only available when EnableClipboardCopyPaste is set to false.

Any way for me to change or stop the behavior of pressing the delete key removing all the formatting and values from a cell.
I am not sure if there is way of protecting the cell that user can still edit the values and clear the contents but not delete the cell and all other setting when pressing the delete key on key board?

Please provide us your sample Excel file. It should be simple and show the behavior of GridDesktop when Delete key is pressed. You can create the sample Excel file manually using Microsoft Excel. We will then look into it and help you asap.
The issues you have found earlier (filed as CELLSNET-45737) have been fixed in this Aspose.Cells for .NET 17.11 update.
