Grouping with smartmarkers

Is there any way to group results using one datatable with the group in the top row and all rows beneath it, then the next group and so on, as on sheet 1 or 2 of the attached workbook

I see your file but don’t understand your need. Could you please post a sample file to show what do you want to do?

Here is the sort of result I am looking for, the other problem is that I need the conditional formatting to copy down with each row that the smartmarker creates

This feature is not supported in smart marker. However, you can use your own code to set the group header.

For conditional formatting issue, I will check it soon.
