Hi Team,
We have an issue when converting attached documents from docx to fixedhtml: charts are rendered incorrectly. We’re using Aspose 16.12.0.

Thanks for your inquiry. We have tested the scenario and have managed to reproduce the following issues for document doc2.docx. For the sake of correction, we have logged these problems in our issue tracking system as follow:

WORDSNET-14715 : 3-D Area charts do not render correctly in output HtmlFixed
(Problematic charts are at page 2, 3, and 8 in doc2.docx)

WORDSNET-14716 : Chart’s band color is changed in output HtmlFixed
(Problematic chart is at page 8 in doc2.docx)

WORDSNET-14717 : Charts become invisible in output HtmlFixed
(Problematic charts are at page 8 and 9 in doc2.docx)

You will be notified via this forum thread once these issues are resolved. We apologize for your inconvenience.

Could you please share the issue detail for document Doc1.docx? We will investigate the issue on our side and provide you more information.

We are working over issues related to Doc3.docx and will get back to you soon.

Regarding issues shared in following links, we have tested the scenario using latest version of Aspose.Words for .NET 16.12.0 and have not found the shared issues. Please use Aspose.Words for .NET 16.12.0.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-14717) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 17.2.0 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 17.2.0 update.

Hello Team,

I have investigated issues with charts and diagrams described higher on 17.2 version of Aspose.
Diagrams that were not displayed after Word -> html conversion currently are displayed.
But there are many issues that I would like to highlight in this post.

Please find screenshots attached.
Most common issues:
- colors of diagram elements are different from Word;
- not existing lines on some charts;
- white/gray boxes are not visible;

Please find converted by our console program html files of SELF_Master_2.0 and Doc2.docx.
Also we have simple DocxToHtmlConverter that uses Aspose Word 17.2 but I is not possible to attach it to this post, because 30mB.

Thanks for your inquiry. We have tested the scenario and have noticed that the 3D formatting of charts in “SELF_Master_2.0.docx” is lost in output document. For the sake of correction, we have logged this problem in our issue tracking system as WORDSNET-15029. You will be notified via this forum thread once this issue is resolved. Thanks for sharing the detail. We have tested the scenario and have managed to reproduce the same issues at our side. For the sake of correction, we have logged these problems in our issue tracking system as follow:

WORDSNET-15056 : The chart’s legend entries are reversed in HtmlFixed
WORDSNET-15057 : The chart’s legend are completely changed in HtmlFixed
WORDSNET-15058 : Docx to HtmlFixed conversion issue with chart’s legend and lines
WORDSNET-15059 : Docx to HtmlFixed conversion issue with surface chart’s lines
WORDSNET-15060 : Docx to HtmlFixed conversion issue with 3D chart’s shading
WORDSNET-15061 : Docx to HtmlFixed conversion issue with 3D chart’s shading colors

We have retested Charts issues and a few issues were fixed in 17.4 version but major part of Charts issues are still reproduce in 17.4.

Could you please retest this bugs using Word files attached to this ticket?

I could make screenshots of differences if it is needed.

The issues reported in this forum thread have not resolved except WORDSNET-14717 and WORDSNET-15056. If you are facing new issues, please share the document and screenshots for testing. We will investigate the issue on our side and provide you more information.

cases regarding charts are attached to post of this thread from 03-15-2017, 11:01 AM

Mostly all that cases are still reproducing in 17.4.
