Hide Horizontal Lines inside WORD

Dear Helpdesk,

While generating the PDF from WORD template,we have a requirement where horizontal lines coming inside a table for each row should not be made visible.Though this can be done using the standard features provided by WORD but when data inside table goes for multiple pages then at the end of each page I should get the table border line which in our case coming as blank.

I have attached a sample table in case of multiple page document.

Thanks

Please use the following code example to achieve your requirements. Hope this helps you.

If you still face problem, please share your input and expected output documents here for our reference. We will then provide you more information about your query along with code.

Document doc = new Document(MyDir + “in.docx”);

foreach (Table table in doc.GetChildNodes(NodeType.Table, true))

{

foreach (Cell cell in table.GetChildNodes(NodeType.Cell, true))

{

if (!cell.ParentRow.Equals(table.LastRow))

cell.CellFormat.Borders.Bottom.ClearFormatting();

}

}

doc.Save(MyDir + "Out.docx");

doc.Save(MyDir + "Out.pdf");

hi

Where to develop and run the above code you mentioned?
how does aspose responds to macros present in registered word document.
Will the macros run automatically before generating the pdf from word template?

Thanks
Sonia

You can use Aspose.Words for .NET to build ASP.NET, Web Services, WinForms or any other type of application for any .NET Framework version from 1.0 to 4.0. Full support for 32-bit and 64-bit. Please read feature overview of Aspose.Words from here:

I am afraid, Aspose.Words does not deal with Macros in document. Also, there is no way to run macros at the moment using Aspose.Words. However, macros are preserved upon open and save with Aspose.Words. We will consider providing limited support of macros such as reading a macros from document in the future.

We apologize for your inconvenience.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-3714) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 19.6 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 19.6 update.
