How does the email mailmerge works?

Hi Team,

I am Nirav. can you suggest me how does the email mailmerge works to create email template from file?

if you see above link and the detail with header ‘Mail Merge Features’. It says, Template-based mail merge using different data sources so I want to know which type of template it allows and can we see any demo on same?
