How to create command button in a cell of excell sheet

Hi,

How to create command button in a cell of excel sheet that will perform macros operations in both excel 2003 and excel 2007 format?

Please provide us with some sample examples.

Hi,

I am afraid, the component can only support to create command buttons in the excel sheet but does not support to create/assign macros.

Moreover, the component does support to preserve macros when you open/load the file with the API provided by Aspose.Cells for Java and can save/save as the file with the macros/vbas. So, if you could create macros manually in MS Excel, the component would preserve them.

Hi, Thanks for quick reply.

As you specified that we can create buttons using Aspose API, so what we can do with that button? can we track the events of that button and if yes then can we show and hide the ranges of cell based on click event.

Please provide us sample code in Excel 2003 and 2007 format.

Hi,

I am afraid, currently, we do not support to attach commands/vba with buttons, it would be just a drawing object at the moment. But we will surely look into it in future version. Once we have any update, we will let you know.
