How to create workbook-scope named ranges

Hi Howard,

Ok, we will wait and see if the approaches (we suggested) suit your requirements.

Thank you.

Amjad, thank you very much, but I can't even test this until the problem reported in post 165712 is fixed. This is urgent as I am now relying on the new Worksheets.Save behavior. Please respond as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Hi,

howardc:

I think you are referring to "ExDataTest.xls" file issue. Well, you should use Workbook.Copy() method instead for the task. You say that it was working in some older versions, well, there was a logical bug in the older versions of the product. In the older versions, we actually did not check whether the defined Names exist, so, it might cause some sort of error, such as, "Data is lost" dialog box can be popped up when the generated file is opened into MS Excel. So we have corrected it in the latest version.

Thank you.

Hi Howard,

Please try the attached fix (4.6.0.14), we have fixed the issue. Could you try it and let us know if it works fine now for your need.

Thank you.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as 7443) have been fixed in this update.
