RasterImage has crop() API, but
RasterImage rasterImage = (RasterImage) Image.load(“emf file”);

how to crop emf image?

Hi Yong,

Thank you for contacting Aspose support.

Your required feature (cropping of EMF images) isn’t yet supported therefore we have logged your request in our database and requested the product team to analyse it. If found feasible, we will bring this feature on our road map of Aspose.Imaging for Java API. The ticket Id for your future reference is IMAGING-34647. Please spare us little time to properly analyze the request. In the meanwhile, we will keep you posted with updates in this regard.

Hi Yong,

Thank you for your patience with us.

This is to inform you that we are working on the metafile cropping functionality as requested in thread, and we are about to publish the feature of cropping EMF with our next release of Aspose.Imaging for Java 2.9.1. Please note, the aforesaid release offers the cropping of EMF and the result could be saved in any of the supported raster image formats.

Please confirm if you wish to save the cropped result back in EMF format. If so, we will handle this feature separately and try our best to provide the implementation with Aspose.Imaging for Java 3.0.0.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as IMAGING-34647) have been fixed in this update.

Hi Yong,

Thank you for your patience with us.

Please check the detailed article on cropping metafiles. Please note, the current implementation of the cropping feature is supported for exporting metafiles, that is; you will not be able to save the resultant cropped image back in metafile format. We have planned the enhancement for the next release with which you will be able to crop the metafile objects hence store the results in metafile formats.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as ) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for JasperReports 18.3 update.
