How to get field Names from MPP using .NET

Hi,
Presently am working on a project, where i need to use MPP API’s. I need to get all field names from mpp file.

I have my own DB,where in i have a field ‘task’ having field name(Resource Names, ID, Task Name as in MPP). I have to MAP both the fields.

Can you tell me a way to get All field names and values for respective names.

Thanks for your question.

I’m sorry but we don’t use MPP API in our component (I think you mean MS OLE DB Provider) because OLE DB Provider works with MPP files through automation.

All descriptions of tables and fields in MPP file you can find on your hard disk in MS Project help directory. If you have MS Project 2003 then it’s “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\1033\PJOLEDB.HTM” file.
