I convert DOC into HTML.
Before converting into HTML I cannot get the date of a comment in DOC.
Is there any method to find the date of a comment in DOC ?

Hi
Thanks for your inquiry. I think you can use DateTime property. Please see the following code.
// Open document
Document doc = new Document(@"Test213\in.doc");
// Get comments from document
NodeCollection comments = doc.GetChildNodes(NodeType.Comment, true);
// Loop through all comments in document
foreach (Comment comm in comments)
{
// Get date when comment was created.
DateTime commentCreated = comm.DateTime;
}
Hope this helps.
Best regards.
Thanks for your prompt response
I could not find neither DateTime class nor the comment.DateTime property.
I am using Aspose.words API for java version 2.4.1.0
Please help.
Thanks & regards

Hi
Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately this property is not available in Aspose.Words JAVA API. . I created new issue #5270 in our defect database. I will notify you as soon as it is done.
Best regards.
Thanks for the code snippet. I have he issue that this code only detects “real” comments in the file, but not the other entities that come with the “Track Changes” functionality. (Deleted, Formated, etc.)
Is this a bug or do I have to list them in a different way?
I need to change the Author of all “Track Changes” Items in a document somehow.
Attached the document.
Hi
Thanks for your inquiry. Revision marks are not comments. Unfortunately there is no way to get date when changes were done and author of changes. This is known issue#4900 in our defect database. But I can’t provide you any estimate at the moment.
Please see the following link to learn how to manage Revisions in the document.
