How to make bookmark's name as read only?

Hi

I have a document with number of bookmarks and each bookmark consists of data. When I tried to edit the data inside the bookmark, accidentally the bookmark has removed. I want to keep the bookmark not to be deleted while editing otherwise I want to keep the bookmark’s name as read only. Is it possible to make bookmark’s name as read only. If yes kindly reply me ASAP. Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks for your inquiry. Please note that Aspose.Words mimics the same behavior as MS Word does. In your case, I suggest you please use Content Controls instead of bookmark in your document. StructuredDocumentTag class represents a structured document tag (SDT or content control) in a document. Hope this helps you. Please let us know if you have any more queries.
