How to privileges for a document

We are evaluating the purchase of Pdf.Kit and would like to know how to tell what privileges are set on a document, so we can let the user know whether we accept the file or not.


I don’t see a method on the PdfFileInfo class that would give that information. Is there an API in Java to access that information?

I’m sorry to inform you that currently Aspose.Pdf.Kit for Java doesn’t provide this functionality. However, I have logged a new feature request as PDFKITJAVA-16497 in our issue tracking system. Our team will look into this requirement and you’ll be updated via this forum thread once it is supported.

Moreover, Aspose.Pdf.Kit for .NET provides such functionality in the form of GetDocumentPrivilege method.
