All the Table positioning properties (like VerticalAnchor, HorizontalAnchor, DistanceBottom etc.) are read only. Is there any other way of setting table positioning with Aspose Words?
I can see a related issue here https://forum.aspose.com/t/support-for-positioning-floating-tables/20692 . Is there any progress on that?

Unfortunately, Aspose.Words does not support the requested feature at the moment. However, we already logged this feature request as WORDSNET-12204 in our issue tracking system.
The implementation of this feature has been postponed (no estimate is available at the moment). We will inform you via this thread as soon as it is resolved.

Is there any progress on this feature? This is a very basic requirement, to be able to exactly position a table in the document. What is Aspose’s timeline to implement it? Lack of essential features like this one means that the product is only partially complete…
We try our best to deal with every customer request in a timely fashion, we unfortunately cannot guarantee a delivery date to every customer issue. We work on issues on a first come, first served basis. We feel this is the fairest and most appropriate way to satisfy the needs of the majority of our customers.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-12204) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 20.1 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 20.1 update.
