HTML to Excel Conversion using Aspose.Cells for Java API

Hi,
We are getting two types of issues while converting HTML to an Excel file. The current version we are using is the Aspose cell 17.11 jar.

1.Data Loss
2. Data appearing in the next column if data is not present in the previous column.

Please provide the solution for the mentioned issue

We have attached the email body as .eml and also attached the excel file converted from email body to excel

Please provide the solution for the same and also lets us know in case of any concern

Thank you for your query.

First you may try this scenario using latest version of Aspose.Cells for Java v19.12. If issue is not resolved, you may share the runnable console application which can be used to test this scenario along with the source HTML file and all other supporting data. Please also share images showing the issues at different stages during this process.

Class HTMLLoadOptions does not exist in the current jar Aspose cell 19.12 jar. How could we load the HTML file so that it can be converted to excel?

Well, the class is there in Aspose.Cells for Java v19.12, see the API Reference page for your reference:

Kindly make sure that you are using the latest version (e.g v19.12/20.1) in your application.

We are currently using Aspose Cell 19.12. While importing this package our eclipse application showing us the error as shown below:

It looks like you might be using some older version or there is some problem in your eclipse project. It works fine as I tested using our latest version, i.e., Aspose.Cells for Java v20.1, see the attached screenshot for your reference.

Could you please try the latest version Aspose.Cells for Java 20.1 now for your testing and share the feedback?

However, if you are still interested in the previous version Aspose.Cells for Java 19.12.2, please download it as per your requirement.

We have tried with the latest version [Aspose.Cells for Java 20.1] but still Html not getting convert in excel correctly.

  1. We are facing Data loss while converting HTML file to excel file
  2. Structure issue
  3. Please provide the root cause.

We were able to observe the issue but we need to look into it more. We have logged the issue in our database for investigation and for a fix. Once, we will have some news for you, we will update you in this topic.

As we recently logged the ticket, so could you spare us few more working days (3-5 days or so) for complete evaluation and investigation for your issue. If it is not much complex, you should be receiving the fix before the end of next week or even before it. If the issue is complex, it might take a couple of weeks.
