I am writing to you about a problem we encountered in working with MSO Word documents (docx format) using the Aspose Words v20.12 library.
Specifically, when we open the document and close it immediately afterwards, there is a loss of value in the hyperlinks over which the hidden text font option was applied (still in the original document).
Among other things, I am enclosing a document that has two identical lines of text (the hidden text Font option is applied on the second one) that contain identical hyperlinks with the same hyperlink value. After applying open/save operations on the source document, in the target document you can see that the second hyperlink, over which the hidden text option is applied, loses its value, and although it looks the same (as a hyperlink) it cannot redirect you anywhere (such as case with the first, visible, hyperlink, or both hyperlinks in the original document).
You can check the specified behavior by right-clicking above the specified hyperlinks and selecting the “Edit Hyperlink” option. Here you can see that the correct hyperlink has values for the fields “Text to display” and “Address” while the invalid one does not (see attached pictures).
