Hyphenation in Word document and with the document converted to PDF with Aspose are different

Hi,

We enabled hyphenation in Aspose.Words 16.6.0.0 by using
Aspose.Words.Hyphenation.RegisterDictionary(“en-US”, “hyph_en_US.dic”);

(We also use hyph_da_DK.dic and hyph_en_GB.dic)

When we perform conversion to PDF we got differences in input and output files (4 lines).
var doc = new Document(“input.docx”);
doc.Save(“output.pdf”, SaveFormat.Pdf);

But we expect no differences (e.g. output pdf should be visually exact copy of the input docx).

There is another file (input2.docx) with table. The hyphenation also differs. We use dictionary hyph_da_DK.dic to convert it.

We also checked that problem exists in very latest version - 16.10.0.0

Files are attached.

Hi René,

Thanks for your patience. It is to inform you that the issue which you are facing is actually not a bug in Aspose.Words. So, we have closed this issue (WORDSNET-14402) as 'Not a Bug'.

There are 6 words in the document that Aspose.Words hyphenates differently than MS Word. The dictionary prevents hyphenation for some words and vice versa does hyphenate words that MS Word does not hyphenate. This issue is related to dictionaries. Ms Word uses proprietary dictionaries and Aspose.Words usese free available.
