Incompatibility of Aspose generated XLSX with MetaScan software

Hi,

Thanks for using Aspose.Cells.

About your question: “In meanwhile wanted to check if you were able to try out what was mentioned in reply # 843955 on setting up and testing MetaScan?”

Yes, we have done those steps especially for “Extract Microsoft Office documents set to FALSE”, but we still get the same result. That is, both time cost of files generated by MS Excel and Aspose.Cells are the same.

Hi,
I checked with concerned team and they informed its not possible to host a web site accessible outside out firm via internet per you request.
how ever if you send us different xlslx created using aspose cell which you want us to run scan on, they will help us report the observations
Please send us xlsx.

Also please update on our request for a conference call and webex session so you can see in action the issue.

Hi,

Thanks for your posting and using Aspose.Cells.

We have logged your comment in our database for product team consideration and further investigation. WebEx session might not be feasible for us. Once, there is some update for you, we will let you know asap.

Hi,

Thanks for using Aspose.Cells.

We are afraid even with a webex session, we can only observe the issue that you have reported but cannot trace and figure the issue out. We have resaved the Test.xlsx as Test_1.xlsx and Test_J.xlsx, please test those two files to see whether they can give different performance.

If the result is same with other files generated by Cells component, would you please try to contact Metascan to see whether they can give the reason why the two files (generated by MS-Excel and Aspose.Cells) have different performance. It will help us to trace and solve the issue.
