Inconsistent page Numbers in page footer

Hi,

I am using the fields Page and NumPages in the Quick Parts to display the page numbers in the page footer.I am appending 6 documents to get the final document in an application.The issue I am facing is like this.
When I have 10 pages, the first page’s footer reads ‘Page 1 of 3’ and the second reads ‘Page 2 of 10’
But, Once I double click on the footer, ‘Page 1 of 3’ becomes ‘Page 1 of 10’.
Is there a fix to solve this issue? Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
I don’t think it is a problem withthe template I have.If I have less data, the pages are less and there is no inconsistent data.Due to multiple sections or documents being appended to the parent document, there is an inconsistency on the first page alone, says the following link

Please let me know, if this cannot be fixed by any means.Is there a work around to avoid this inconsistency?This is really important for our implementation.Any help in this regard is highly appreciated

Hi

Thank you for additional information. I linked your request to the appropriate issue. However, MS Word should automatically update values of PAGE and NUMPAGES fields during opening the document. So I am not sure this is an issue of Aspose.Words, but we will further investigate the issue and provide you more information.
