IndexOutOfRangeException in ReplaceText pdf

hi,

I am getting the following error when ReplaceText in the pdf.


See Sample Code:

Document doc = new Document(@“c:\temp\pdf\a.pdf”);
Aspose.Pdf.Facades.PdfContentEditor editor = new Aspose.Pdf.Facades.PdfContentEditor();
editor.BindPdf(doc);
editor.ReplaceText(“1”, 1, “*”); // Exception
doc.Save(@“c:\temp\pdf\c.pdf”);

notice the same problem. For the sake of correction, I have logged this problem
as PDFNEWNET-37659 in our issue tracking system. We will further
look into the details of this problem and will keep you updated on the status
of correction. Please be patient and spare us little time. We are sorry for

I understand that you will look into the problem; however, there is an urgent issue that I am facing with it now. My customer is complaining so heavily I have to provide him some feedback.

unless we have investigated and have figured out the actual reasons of this
problem, we might not be able to share any timelines by which this problem will
be resolved. However,
as soon as we have made some significant progress towards the resolution of
this issue, we would be more than happy to update you with the status of
correction. Please be patient and spare us little time. Your patience and
comprehension is greatly appreciated in this regard.


PS, I have also shared your concerns with development team and have requested them to try accommodating this problem sometimes sooner in their schedule.

No response for a long time to send the mail again.
if it is difficult to replace the string, i wish to delete the string.
My customers come in contact several times a day with this problem.
Is there a good way?

Thanks for your patience.

The development team is busy resolving current scheduled tasks and I am afraid the problem is not yet resolved. Furthermore, please note that in order to delete string, we will have to use Replace Text approach and similar issue is occurring when trying to remove string. Nevertheless, I have shared your concerns with development team and they will surely try fixing the problem, as quickly as possible.

Your patience and comprehension is greatly appreciated in this regard.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as PDFNEWNET-37659) have been fixed in Aspose.Pdf for .NET 9.8.0.
