IndexOutOfRangeException Occurs when Saving PowerPoint Presentation in C#

Hi,

I got System.IndexOutOfRangeException:Index was outside the bounds of the array. when saving a slide.
Using SDK: Aspose.Slides for .Net 23.12

Using code

Presentation document = new Aspose.Slides.Presentation("2016文科老师普通话培训(1).ppt");
document.Save("out.ppt", Aspose.Slides.Export.SaveFormat.Ppt);

Using file:
2016文科老师普通话培训(1).7z.001.7z (4.8 MB)

2016文科老师普通话培训(1).7z.002.7z (4.8 MB)

2016文科老师普通话培训(1).7z.003.7z (3.7 MB)

Unfortunately, I was unable to open the archive you shared: error.png (11.5 KB). Please try using a file storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc) to share a link to the presentation file.

Sorry. I forgot to tell you.
Remove the last ‘.7z’, then decompress xxx.7z.001.
This is a file, compressed in 7z volumes

Tested OSs were Win7 and Win10
.NET target platform is .net 6.0

Another file got error when saving.
Same code, OS, .NET target platform.

I tested your scenario/case using your original PPTM Presentation file (attached) with sample code snippet and I got “IndexOutOfRangeException” when saving your PPTM file to PPTX file format. I am using latest version of Aspose.Slides for .NET 24.12.

Presentation document = new Aspose.Slides.Presentation("e:\\test2\\第7章 ADALINE神经网络.pptm");
document.Save("e:\\test2\\第7章 ADALINE神经网络.out.pptx", Aspose.Slides.Export.SaveFormat.Pptx);//Exception
