I downloaded Aspose.Words 6.2.0.0 today, and I’m happy to say that the problem has been solved for me, very nice work. Must’ve been fun tracking that one down!

I closed also the issue #6971 we have found earlier in this thread since I cannot reproduce the problem using the latest version.
Issue #6971 - Text with font “Symbol” that was inserted programmatically is not recognized.
