Insert column problem

Trying to insert 3 columns in the attached spreadsheet, but get an "Invalid formula" exception. The code is simply :

workbook.Worksheets("Daily Data").Cells.InsertColumns(7, 3, True)

Using aspose.cells version 4.7.1.6. It works on other workbooks, but I've run the Error Checking tool in Excel and it doesn't find any errors.

Hi Rick,

Thank you for considering Aspose.

We have found your mentioned issue after an initial test. We will figure it out soon.

Thank You & Best Regards,

Hi,

Please try the attached version, we have fixed the bug of inserting columns.

Thank you.

Sorry, I've been out of town until now.

In testing the new version (4.7.1.7) using the same workbook I had sent you, it did get past the original failure, however, I now get an "Illegal Formula" with the following code:

Dim cellarea As New CellArea
cellarea.StartColumn = 0
cellarea.StartRow = 9
cellarea.EndColumn = 6
cellarea.EndRow = workbook.Worksheets("Volumes").Cells.MaxDataRowInColumn(0)
workbook.Worksheets("Volumes").Cells.InsertRange(cellarea, 1, ShiftType.Down, True)

The error occurs on the last line. If I comment the above line, then I get the same error with:

workbook.Worksheets("SQLData").Cells.InsertRows(7, 1, True)

Note: Just for your knowledge. In the new release v4.8.0, we have merged Aspose.Grid suite to Aspose.Cells for .NET msi installer as Aspose.Grid would be no longer offered as a separate product now. You need to install the installer (uninstall older one first if you have) and use only Aspose.Cells.dll library in your project for your need. You may also take advantage using Aspose.Cells Grid suite though.
